FLOOR AMENDMENT EXPLANATION
1. Requires the Superintendent of Public Instruction to establish a Safe Schools Task Force to identify best practices relating to mental health, social services and improved support for youth and codifies duties of the existing Task Force within the Arizona Department of Education.
2. Conforms requirements of the Safe Schools Plans to the recommendations developed by the Safe Schools Task Force.
3. Includes charter schools in the requirement to adopt a Safe Schools Plan.
